  • Centre de la Falaise VerteMr. Jyoji Frey, a long time kyudo archer and an ordained monk in the Rinzai Zen school, has posted this web page in French detailing the Chado, Zen and Kyudo classes at his center in France. Be sure to visit all the class pages to see various views of the large and beautiful wooden building which serves as zendo and kyudo dojo. This building certainly has to rank as one of the most elegant kyudo structures outside of Japan.

  • The London Kyudo Society web page. This is a private dojo on school grounds in London. Although not mentioned by name, Liam O'Brien, Kyoshi, 7th dan, is the instructor and the mailto: tag on the page will send email to his internet account. This is a good way to reach O'Brien sensei who is the current president of the European Kyudo Federation. I believe that O'Brien sensei is also the chief instructor at the Brookes school dojo which also has a web page. The Brookes web page has some nice pictures of their gym dojo and equipment like a makiwara and its stand. Those interested in setting up a makiwara dojo or gym dojo should get some nice ideas from their pictures.

    http://home.t-online.de/home/stefan.sb.bertram/k-links.htm

This page must have taken a lot of work to make and my hat is off to the crew that put it together.
